Meghan Markle wore a chic white dress and cross-body bag while out with Prince Harry in her latest public appearance. And the bag is surprisingly affordable.
It's funny to think saying, "You look like royalty," wouldn't be a compliment to some people because ... they are royalty. Meghan Markle looking regal during a public appearance should surprise no one as her May 19 royal-wedding date gets nearer, and the royal-to-be continues to exude fashion inspo every time she steps out of the house–sorry, palace.
On Wednesday, Markle accompanied fiancé Prince Harry to his speech in front of the Commonwealth Youth Forum and, per usual, her outfit drew admiration from the (internet) crowds. Most of her recent outfit is on the pricer side: Her exact dress is made by Altuzarra ($1,995 at Net-A-Porter.com), which she paired with a $699 black Camilla and Marc blazer, and black Tamara Mellon high-heeled pumps ($475 at Orchardmile.com). Wait a second... what's that black-and-white cross-body bag? Let me zoom in... The label says Oroton! Upon a little sleuthing (aka Googling), I found the same style from the Australian brand, the Avalon Zip Top Crossbody bag, and it's only $221!
The color scheme Markle sported is out of stock online at the moment, but the other two-toned version of the same style is 30 percent off, bringing the price down to $108.50.
Oroton's Avalon Zip Top Crossbody in solid red is still full price, but $221 to look like actual royalty isn't that bad if you ask me.
