Married at First Sight‘s Kate Sisk and Luke Cuccurullo have struggled since the beginning of their marriage after the new groom revealed his wife wasn’t his usual type.

But now fans are in for a shock after Sisk reveals in Tuesday night’s episode that she and Cuccurullo have had sex multiple times since their honeymoon.

“I kind of feel bad because Luke asked me not to talk about this with the experts, but I can’t keep it a secret anymore,” Sisk tells Dr. Pepper — one of the show’s experts — in a shocking therapy session. “Luke and I have been having sex since the honeymoon, and it’s awkward.”

In an interview, Sisk further reveals that her husband specifically asked her “not to tell anyone about our sex life,” but she can no longer keep it to herself. “Luke and I have had sex probably five or six times,” she says.

Earlier this season, the newlywed couple expressed their concerns that their relationship might not work out after the first kiss they shared following their wedding didn’t go as planned.

“I think that Luke is a pleaser and he knows that I’m attracted to him, and I like him … so he kissed me last night just to try it and then had to stop because he said it made him feel repulsed and dead inside,” said Sisk at the time. “It made me feel terrible, and I don’t know what to do.”

Cuccurullo revealed that he had “turned off” his emotions in order to kiss Sisk and that “it didn’t feel natural.”

“It felt really disjointed somehow, and it definitely was a situation that was uncomfortable,” Cuccurullo continued. “If you’re marrying a stranger, there’s 100 percent a chance that you guys don’t mesh, that you guys aren’t attracted to each other, but it’s definitely a risk that I took and it feels absolutely terrible that this relationship won’t work out.”

Sisk, a hotel marketing specialist, and Cuccurullo, a civil engineer, had a PDA-free wedding ceremony which was shown during the season premiere. Since then, the couple have struggled with affection — and Sisk was left in tears after Cuccurullo spent their one-month anniversary with his friends instead of his wife.

Married at First Sight (produced by Kinetic Content) airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
